It depends on what kind of service is your friend. If a responder, which may have been placed in a position to the deadline. If the voice mail from a telephone company, now sets the time limit, which varies with the number of customers. In Richmond, Virginia, may leave a message for 5 minutes, but in Boston, Massachusetts, you can leave a message for 1 minute. Since you can not say everything in a minute, you have to say probably time to say something.
It depends on what time it is set to do so. If you can do in a minute ... Call and see if it works. If you cut .. Call back and continue.
